Traditional Alentejo Cuisine. The chef's own touch.

Dom Joaquim was born in March 6 2007 from the desire of its owner and main chef to create a restaurant in Evora where the traditional Alentejo cuisine would be combined with his own vision. Over the years, the people in the city have elected Dom Joaquim as one of their favourites. And the  prizes, both regional and national, have naturally been awarded to the dedication of the way the Alentejo cuisine has been served. Together, of course, with renowned wines from this region and throughout Portugal.

At Dom Joaquim, we proud ourselves of welcoming our guests as if we had known them all our lives. This is a restaurant to slowly enjoy the delicacies that keep arriving, while appreciating the warming ambiance of our room.
